FOR INDIAN SPICE & PROVISIONS WHOLESALERS
A customer khata connected to your wholesale orders
A delivery is not always the end of an order. Customers may pay part now and the rest later. MyDukaan keeps their orders and recorded payments together, so you can check the outstanding balance without searching through separate notebooks.

See the balance behind each customer
The customer khata brings together billed amounts, recorded payments and the remaining amount owed across orders. Open the customer ledger when you need to understand the balance, instead of relying on a total without its transaction history.
Record partial payments as they happen
Record a payment against an order or against the customer’s account. Capture cash or a UPI reference after receiving the money directly. MyDukaan records the transaction; it does not transfer funds or collect money from a customer’s bank account.
A simple part-payment example
A customer has a ₹3,000 order and pays ₹1,000 on delivery. The remaining balance is ₹2,000. When they later pay ₹500, record that payment so the amount still owed becomes ₹1,500. Keep each entry tied to the customer so a member of staff can explain the balance.
Keep deliveries and collections in view
Your delivery team can mark deliveries and record payments collected along the way. The shop can follow order status and customer dues together. A payment record and a delivery status answer different questions: what has the customer received, and what have they paid?
Move from a paper khata carefully
Start with a small set of customers and confirm their balances against your existing records. Record new orders and payments consistently, then review the customer ledger at the end of the day. Avoid entering the same payment twice when more than one staff member handles collections.
Frequently asked questions
Do my customers need to install MyDukaan?
