Record a partial collection at delivery

A retailer receives a ₹4,800 order and pays ₹2,000 in cash. Staff record ₹2,000 against the order. Its remaining balance is ₹2,800. Recording the collection keeps the order and customer’s total khata aligned.

A later payment can cover the customer’s account

If the retailer later pays ₹3,000 towards their khata, MyDukaan allocates account credit to their oldest live orders first. The owner can see how the payment was applied, including any account credit left over.

Close the day with collection records

The daily summary shows who recorded collections, from whom and how much, using the Indian calendar day. Record a cash payment or a UPI reference after receiving it directly. Use due dates and overdue balances to prepare the next follow-up list.

Share a confirmation of payment received

A payment receipt confirms the collection. A business may show its GSTIN on the receipt. That receipt is not a GST tax invoice. For one-off domestic goods invoices, try the separate free website tool.
